A truly historic building that is being renovated with respect to its history by its lovely owners. We were welcomed to Chateau Val with a bottle of local rose cider and made very comfortable. The owners are helpful and kindly gave us some good recommendations for our evening meal locally. Very quiet area despite being so close to Cherbourg so it was an excellent choice for our last night in France.

It was lovely to hear the history from the owners who had plenty of time to share. Accommodation spotlessly clean and breakfast was first rate.
