"Perfect location for the high peaks. Great pub with good food and great range of ales. Nice to have a very spacious cottage rather than just a room."

Fantastic location for the Pennine Way, Kinder Scout etc. Lovely setting within the surrounding hills. The pub does great food and the cafe nearby has an excellent breakfast selection. The rooms were basic, clean and comfortable - perfect for a couple of days in the peaks. Reasonably equipped kitchen but the other options were good so we didn't really use it. Bed was comfy. It's a bit pricey but you pay a premium for the location.
We stayed in Grindsbrook Cottage, which is a flat above the pub kitchens on the back of the building. I was in the single room and there was a loud hum/vibration from (I think) the kitchen extractor fans behind a vent in the wall. It was difficult to sleep until it went off at about 10.30pm but then, unfortunately, there were a group of young men outside on the picnic tables chatting and drinking until past midnight. Staff didn't move them on... Also, the water pressure in the shower was terrible!

Perfect location for the high peaks. Great pub with good food and great range of ales. Nice to have a very spacious cottage rather than just a room.
Not a complaint, but bear in mind this is a cottage with a kitchenette, so remember to bring your own breakfast materials as breakfast is not included. There are good cafes in Hope village for breakfast.

Cosy, adequate, gorgeous location and super friendly staff . Great shower and the most comfortable bed
A little dated, cooker dials difficult to read and no instructions.

We had a lovely stay over a very snowy weekend. Great location, near the station and lots of lovely walks. The cottage is cosy but clean. Thanks for having us!
