Good room - even got "accidentally" given a lake view room rather than "mountain view" which was a nice surprise. Comfy and well-maintained with a lovely balcony.
Breakfast was good. Nothing to write home about, but more than sufficed with cereal, milk, coffee, croissants, meat etc.
Located about 10 minutes walk from both Brienz and Brienz West stations.
Security is questionable. When leaving the hotel for any reason, you are told to leave the room key in a lock-box type thing next to reception. Locking the room key in place allows for a main door key to be taken, and vice versa. You may get locked out at night if you do not abide by this.
For those needing luggage storage, luggage is stored in the open, not locked or protected. Use station facilities instead.
Desk staff are occasionally distant and unresponsive, making initial arrival difficult to get key info.
Still quite expensive for a 2-night stay. Potentially book further in advance or elsewhere around away from Interlaken for lower prices.

The breakfast was amazing - loved it. The dinning room was wonderful and so the people. All items were delicious, very well balanced diet too. The presentation was lovely.
The room didnot have a TV - it would have been nice if there was one. I was okay with it but my wife loved to have one for watching news and other items.

The location is too good and within close proximity from train station and supermarkets. The receptionist (Tara) was really kind and helpful and it was really easy to communicate with her in English.
The beds could have been a little more comfortable.
