nice large rooms, recently refurbished
good breakfast and tasty food in the restaurant
The shared balconies did not provide sufficient privacy. Additionally, when the neighbors spent time on their balconies smoking, the noise and unpleasant smell of cigarette smoke significantly affected our comfort.

A lovely hotel in a lovely location with friendly staff. Chef was able to cater for coeliac requirements, which was a bonus, since there is usually poor knowledge and understanding in Romania. He had spent years in Italy so could cater well. Very happy, would stay again and highly recommend.

Location was lovely and the property was clean.
Room wasn’t ready when we arrived 2 hrs after check in started. No offer for a complementary drink or to take our bags for the 30 min wait. We waited on the beautiful terrace. My preference would not be for music to be played out there, and rather just enjoy the peaceful surroundings, but music was played at all times, including breakfast. The room was clean, but poorly decorated. Exposed pipes, ripped lamp shades, cheap furniture. Massive balcony but no furniture out there. This was one of our most expensive rooms in a 2 week road trip - I genuinely wouldn’t have minded if it had been half the price. Food was average at best. We saw some of the other rooms in the newer part of the hotel and I have to say, they looked a lot nicer. Maybe we just got unlucky.
