We loved Alex. We would always come back to a clean room and clean sheets. My wife had accidentally stained the sheets with blood as it was her time of the month and Alex cleaned and changed the sheets no problem. Overall we enjoyed our stay because Alex went above and beyond.
TV wasn't working. No channels. But wasn't the end of the world there was free wifi.

Very nice and clean room in an excellent central location

It is a hostel..... that said, we had a private bathroom, it was clean, quiet, had A/C and the manager, Alex, was great.
Bare bones room, but that was expected

The room itself was simple but comfortable. The bathroom is shared, but that actually wasn't a problem because, when we stayed there really weren't many other guests. Everything was quite adequate, admittedly not nearly good enough to justify the price point but then Barcelona is an expensive place so maybe it just comes with the territory.
We had quite some trouble checking in due to some difficulty communicating and some bad luck with timing. I'd advise coordinating with the management well in advance, and hope that nothing goes too wrong with travel plans.
