Close to airport, you could swim out front, had excellent views, staff gave great advice and assistance, had a lift for the 5 flights down, good restaurants nearby, hotel was able to provide different pillows and double glazing very good.
bus into old town unreliable, no local shops easy to get to, airport a little bit too close as was a bit noisy from planes landing however double glazing helped.

Near the sea. 20min from airport
AC worked sporadically. Hotel late with check in, no coffee or water offered while waiting. Very noisy at 2am when flights arrived. Mix up with booked taxies.
