Hotel Frohnhauser Hof

The room was small, but tidy and cozy. I needed nothing more. The bed was comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

The property was really clean and the staff were really friendly and willing to help. We had some technical issues but the staff were willing to let us burrow their own personal chargers to try and help us and overall the property was really nice next to a kiosk which was really beneficial

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property however a bit of entertainment would of been a nice extra touch

The room was okay and the price was okay for that room Location was easy to find I will recommend it for anyone who needs a place to sleep for a night.

The was no elevator to the third floor and I think it because the building was built in the early days 😁 I don’t know if they can do something about it in the modern era but apart from that everything was okay 👍🏾.

The room is perfectly adequate in size for one person who only plans to use the hotel for sleeping. The location is okay, public transport is nearby, and there is plenty of parking, even when arriving late at night, as I did. Both the day and night staff were very friendly and helpful. Wi-Fi was free and good enough for me to stream a TV series using my own Chromecast device.

The bed has a raised edge to prevent the mattress from sliding down. However, the bed frame is narrower than the mattress, so the raised edge also pushes the mattress up, constantly causing me to slide slightly towards the inner edge of the bed. The mattress has a very pronounced dip in it. It was so bad that I had to rotate the mattress in the middle of the night to avoid lying in the hollow. The pillow might as well not have been there at all. It was so thin that I had to fold it in half just to get any kind of elevation for my head. I don't know whether it was the cleaning staff or other guests, but there was banging in the hallway from 7 a.m. onwards, and someone kept trying the door handle and attempting to open my door. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I literally had to wedge my suitcase between the entrance door and the bathroom door to prevent the entrance door from being opened from the outside. The bathroom sink is so small that it is impossible to wash your face properly without hitting your head on the shelf underneath the mirror. I had to wash my face and brush my teeth in the shower. The bathroom ventilation system blows directly into the room, causing clumps of dust to fall onto the floor and bed whenever it is running.
