Cosy Room was very roomy, Bathroom huge..Bed massive and so comfy...Room was lovely decorated and overlooked the grounds.Hotel was very easy to get to and from..Busses directly outside to the town and further afield.Grounds absolutely beautiful and well worth a walk and sit and just take in the countryside. We had continental breakfast and there was a lot of choice, Staff were so nice. We travelled by train as we wanted a rest from driving and with train and busses right outside the station it was very easy for us. We are both active but in our 80 ties
Nothing as we have already booked out third visit for Jan 2027

Staff were very friendly, parking was easy and breakfast was good.
The ‘deluxe’ room was anything but. The furniture must have been 20 years old, worn and poor quality. The tv, fixed to the wall in an awkward position, predated the furniture. The bathroom would've been nice some 15+ years ago, complete with broken mirror. The iron, whilst functional, was also of considerable age. No fridge for water. Pretty significant cobwebs were on the window dressing and the room generally was on the small side. The description of deluxe was certainly misleading.
