Good layout for a quad room with teenagers
The first room we were in felt very tired. The room smelt musty & damp. One of the beds & floor was wet. Bed. Sheets stained hence changed rooms (new one much better)

As a lone motorcyclist travelling from Europe back to North of England, it was a fantastic location for the first stop after Le Shuttle from Calais, after leaving Belgium in the early morning. I will in future book this as an overnight location before I leave the UK to land in Europe and it will be my last overnight before heading North to home on my return.
Although it was a motorway service centre this suited me perfectly. It was on the route home. I filled with petrol and it was nice to sit back and people watch, before having an overnight, well earned kip, and heading North....its potential negative was a positive for me.

Car parking included, overall security of hotel and local services good.
Have previously stayed in better updated rooms at this hotel before but clean and comfortable enough for one night.

I was searching for an easy location to be able to take the ferry the next morning and charge my electric car. This was great and not expensive.
When I arrived there was still paper in the toilet that wasn't flushed, the bin hadn't been emptied and there were spider webs on the curtains.
In the morning all the lights stoppedd working for an unknown reason.
But for 49 pounds it is not that bad I guess
