Location was great. 10 min. walks from train station and about the same down to he harbor. Lots to see. A beautiful day when I was there. Spent the day walking/exploring, Finished with 22,000 steps, including a stretch of the Kattegattleden to Apelviken. So many swimming possibilities in one town. And despite it being 3 C that morning I saw several in the water, outdoors!
A variety of dining possibilities within a short distance from Stadshotellet and a COOP and iCA near the hotel, as well as a Filmstaden bio around the corner. Excellent breakdast in the hotel restaurant this morning. Very satisfied overall.
Was delighted to discover the ability to cast my Viaplay streaming to the hotel room’s flatscreen!
Check-in wasn’t until 16:00 and I arrived by train at 10:30. Luckily my explorations filled that time nicely but an hour or two earlier would have been nice. The 11:00 chect-out allows for a no stress morning with ample time for shower and breakfast.

Very comfortable bed and nice spa.
Did not get full information spontaneously at the reception at my arrival.
My bedroom was neighboring the gym and the spa area. Therefore, there was lots of noise in the evening. Fortunately, it stopped for the night until 8:00 am.

A historical hotel in the center of town. We were walking distance from the waterfront. During the day we could attend the farmers market, which was on a Wednesday when we were there during the summer. At night, we sat outside and enjoyed a drink while watching the moonrise.
The bathroom was all new, but the tub was difficult to get in and out of to take a shower.

Room was good: Still don't understand the placement of the TV in the middle of the room. Great for a teenager, but not for adults. Spa was great
You would always expect a hotel that you pay a little extra for, to go a little beyond. Staff did what was expected but the enthusiasm was lacking. Breakfast was just ok. Coffee machine was broken for two days. At a hotel you don't mess with the guests' coffee. You just fix it. Otherwise just fair, not exceptional
