The room was spacious and it was useful to have the kitchen area and fridge as we made our own breakfast. The room had air conditioning which worked very well. We were able to park our car at the end of the street for 12 euros a day, the car park is open but does have a coded barrier. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and able to help with our enquiries. There is a tram across the street which takes you into the city in about 20 mins the rate is 2.3 euros and you have 1 hr to use it in the tram bus or even the funicular train. The area felt generally safe and we would be happy to stop there again.
The hotel is on a main street and there is noise from traffic. Although we were on the 5th floor you could stilll hear the trams so it was hard to get to sleep. However I think in a city you have to accept the problem and it wouldn’t prevent me choosing this hotel again.
