The friendliness of the staff and their willingness to assist/ offer advice
We didnt go for breakfast as so many good options nearby (Marlà Pasticceria was amazing!) but the pool/steam room/ sauna and hot tub were an excellent way to relax after a busy day
the metro station was a stones throw away so super quick/ cheap to get to Centrale station or airport
there was no reason for complaints

The staff was knowledgeable and attentive
The building is beautiful, rooms were very spacious. Great bathroom (bidet!) and bath products
It was quiet
The AC worked well
Parking lot is very nice
There was mildew in the bathroom. One could see it and smell it
The carpet dis not look very clean
We had dinner at the restaurant and it was poor quality, bad service (except for the waiter who was super nice and polite)

You can tell that this hotel used to be Grand. There are some impressive structural features. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice.
The place feels tired, the sofa bed in our room was broken, the tv didn’t work, the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbours talking. The spa is disappointing, the sauna was closed so there’s only a steam room, a jacuzzi and a cold pool. The breakfast was sad, it felt cheap. The juice is watered down, the meat and cheese was processed, etc.
