There were lots of options for breakfast, including fruit and cold meats and cheeses and hot food like eggs and bacon. Tea and coffee , croissants and brioche! Loved the variety!
The room was clean ,quiet , spacious and comfortable;the bathroom looked clean too with no mould problems. We were impressed with the trust they had in their customers leaving the hotel unsupervised in the evening / overnight and trusting everyone to write down on a list whatever they took out of the fridge downstairs .
We stayed there in early September and it was quite warm, considering the room was on the top floor, under the roof, I think in the middle of the summer could be quite hot but there was a cooling fan to help with that. Nothing I didn’t like, just thought might be hot in the summer.

As it was a German holiday, the Hotel in it's wisdom had closed the kitchen. We were told that most other restaurants would also be closed. But the lovely young lady in reception rang around and found another hotel that had not closed their kitchen! Thanks to her we had a lovely dinner in that restaurant, which was much needed after a full days traveling on a motorcycle in very hot weather.
