The staff were incredibly friendly and breakfast was amazing. The hotel is located perfectly, too.

This is our second stay here. The first stay was a week ago, for one night since we were travelling onward. That stay was amazing. We had a wonderful spacious room in which we could easily set up a cod for our daughter. The bathroom was neat and clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was quiet, breakfast was amazing, and the staff were very friendly. Because of this, we decided to stay in the same hotel on our way back from our holiday. However, this time it was lacking a lot. We first were put in number 5. This room was incredibly small. Not a lot of space for a cod, which we had brought ourselves. No matter, we’ll ask for a new one. We got number 47 after that. This room was supposedly newly renovated, but if I am quite honest, I could not tell. The bed, the shelves, the desk and the tv were great, but the bathroom, the walls, the ceiling… they did not look as if they were newly renovated. The shower itself was spacious, but it was leaking. Water spouted out of the shower in places where it shouldn’t spout out of. Another ‘renovation’? What we also found a problem was that the only windows of this room were in the bathroom and the separate toilet; not in the room itself. The room became incredibly warm at night and there was no way for us to open a window without having to open the bathroom and the toilet. The doors to the bathroom and toilet had windows that kind of looked like frosted glass (not exactly that but I don’t know what to call it - there were shapes in the glass) . We could see very well through it while we would visit the bathroom, so not a lot of privacy. And then there was the noise. The other guests were so loud that it took an awful long time for our daughter and us to fall asleep. At one point someone reprimanded them. I’m not sure whether it was the staff or another guest. But this was at midnight. It had gone on like that since 7PM. I relayed some of these things to the staff as well and they were understanding.
