Bar was excellent
Pool was closed. A bit of a sewage smell in room when we returned after dinner.

Good for the Camino route onto Finesterre, clean and functional. Friendly reception lady who was really helpful.
Basic facilities and a feeling from restaurant and bar staff we weren’t particularly welcome.

This is a very comfortable, old school hotel. My room was very comfortable, immaculately clean, and secure. Things have clearly been updated (great bathroom!) but the slightly retro vibe remains, which I really liked - like the elevator, actual keys for the room, etc. plus I had a balcony. The staff is simply outstanding and very helpful
This is a big hotel with a big restaurant (food was great) so it is a natural stop for large, very loud, tour groups - their luggage crowds the lobby, and they arrive into the restaurant in a large flock and the single waiter does the best he can to serve everyone quickly. While I understand that these tour groups are a significant part of the hotels income, this was the only thing I didn’t like. Fortunately the floors with rooms on them were very quiet and I had a very restful stay.

It was really clean.
Breakfast was ok.
It was my first accommodation during El Camino..and the worst.
Rude staff due to lack of English skills, I wanted to eat for dinner, they had only 4 guests and still they wanted me to wait.
Breakfast was ok, nothing special, no eggs, no sausage etc. but it was okay.
