I really loved that this place was just a little away from the village (7ish mins walk). You just get all the peace and quiet that you can only imagine.
The views are incredible, I was left speechless every day we were there. The hosts are very nice and kind, and were very attentive to us!
There are free kayaks and snorkeling equipment as well as sunbeds and umbrellas on an almost private beach, which is also one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen. Make sure to explore the coast with the kayak on a windless day!
Everything was great for us personally!

Simple but comfortable rooms in a great location, tucked away from the centre (but an easy walk) so you miss the crowds leaving the gorge, and with a great view from your private terrace. Yiorgos and his family were friendly, and helpful the epitome of philoxenia. One small example; we were asked if we wanted a lift from the ferry on arrival, as it was only a ten or 15 minute walk we said we'd be OK, but our arrival coincided with a heavy shower, so he turned up to greet us in any case. As for the home cooking, it was excellent - simple and traditional dishes, perfectly prepared, and served in the lovely shaded patio. We stayed four nights and didn't even think of eating anywhere else. Finally, it was excellent value for money. We'd return in a heartbeat.
Liked everything.

Lovely welcome at the end of our long long walk from Sougia to Agia Roumeli and the amazing supper of freshly caught fish Georgios prepared for us. Zak the dog was also a cheerful addition to our stay.
Didn’t manage to get a hot shower. Not sure if the tank was limited?

They were so friendly and lovely, and we got a pick up.
We had a quick turn around and This is located just slightly out of the village (about 3-400m) We had to do a couple of very hot walks up to it, it’s not far, but in the middle of the day I wished we were in the village more. If you know that’s the ca en you won’t be worried. It does go very access to a more private beach- and was very quiet.
The only other thing is the back room was much stuffier than the front area. An air con unit in the back room woudl have been better
