Beds are comfy, the rooms are clean and the amenities on the female floor are great. The staff is very friendly and the lobby quite a nice place to hang out. It’s right in Ximen close to the bus and about a 10 minutes walk to the MRT.
If you are looking for a hostel with mainly young people in their early 20s go for it. I really thought some of them were quite obnoxious and it was all about drinking and partying. Also some girls in the room were talking until late into the night before I asked them to do that elsewhere. Also very high prices on weekends.

I love the ambiance, the security and the helpful staffs that can understand and speak english well. Snacks are also available in dining always. I love that they have coffee
It is difficult that the elevator starts at second floor especially if you have big and heavy luggages with you.
I stayed in the dormitory and the placement of lighting on beds can be improved to have a proper illumination for vanity purposes.

One aspect is that the staff did try and keep the place clean despite it being quite a large hostel.
The other travellers made this place more reasonable to stay in, and social. Thankfully met a few good people to spend time with.
The private double rooms are extremely tiny and not worth the price being charged. In addition there is no window/ventilation option whatsoever so it becomes incredibly stuffy.
My room had a strong smell of mold and reported this to staff who switched me to a different room which was similarly stuffy and didn’t have a window or ventilation.
The place is also advertised as having breakfast included however this is not the case, and nothing is provided.
