The history. Size of room. The staff.

Very pretty, very comfortable bed and bedding, convenient location and quiet
I liked it all, but didn’t think £60 for upgrade to ‘junior suite’ was worth it. Not sure why it was called a suite when it was an average sized hotel room with shower over the Bath. Also £15 for car parking is a bit mean

The staff was amazing - knowledgeable, friendly, professional. She was from Romania, I recall. She guided me as to where to go and what to see. Very nice place to stay and will be my place to go to on my next trip to England. Winchester is a delightful city with much to do and see. The location is excellent. I loved the interior decoration of the room, so much so that I took a photo of the room and hope to design a similar room in my own house someday.
Everything was great.
