Staff were very attentive, food was good had dinner and breakfast.
Only stayed one overnight so did not explore everything.
All good , rooms could be up dated.

We had a lovely stay at Gamodh Citadel over the weekend. The hotel was easy to find and conveniently located close to many of the main landmarks in Anuradhapura.
The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the swimming pool was also very clean and well maintained. We especially appreciated having a security guard on site and safe, secure parking, which gave us peace of mind during our stay.
We had breakfast at the hotel, and the food was delicious! The staff were very accommodating and happily refilled our food whenever we asked, which was a really nice touch.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️

The pool was big and very nice, staff were friendly and helpful. Bikes can be rented, but for an 8-year old, the distance to the old city is still quite far on a rather busy road. Good beds.
Breakfast and dinner were OK, but not great. In one of the roti's I had for breakfast, I found a short cotton string. For dinner, most of the vegetables were not fresh. The tiles in the pool have sharp edges, which resulted in small cut in our toes.

The breakfast was Ok.
Not met our expectations. The booking.com photos were not reflecting the true status of the hotel. There were insects in the toilet.
