Nice old school pub vibe with a very comfortably room just a hop skip upstairs..so convenient for dinner, and also there’s a cafe.
Best of all, it’s dog friendly.
You can hear a bit through the walls, but it was generally very quiet.

I liked the fact that the room had a desk and the bathroom for shaving after I was moved from my prebooked room that didn't have a mirror or a desk. Bar and dinner just downstairs with great staff service and good food but not the cheapest. Great Guiness.
Carpets and the overall decor was extremely outdated and worn. Shower rose was leaking badly due to semingly the lack of maintenance.beds were old and way too soft with pillows that didn't offer any support, but this could be down to me as I prefer a firm bed with firm pillows.
