About this house rental
Experience wine country the way it used to be: quaint, beautiful, and charming. Come stay in our Amador Farmhouse built in the late 1800’s located on the beautiful Shenandoah Valley Wine Trail. Be a part of history with the first home in the Shenandoah Valley to receive electricity and running water. The Amador Farmhouse offers three updated remodeled bedrooms each with their own private bathrooms and showers. Relax, enjoy and wash the city away in our lovely vintage claw tubs. Slip into the covers of your luxurious King and queen size beds with fine linens and drift away into a peaceful country sleep…Sweet Dreams. Need a place to put the kids or that favorite Uncle? Enjoy a cozy pull out couch next to the fire place and a flat screen TV in the living room. This farmhouse might be old in spirit but it’s young at heart with all of the modern updates and conveniences of home, yet charm of an old country farmhouse. Enjoy the stunning sunsets and beautiful views of the local vineyards on our wrap around deck. Life is better on the farm.

This was our 4th annual stay at the Farmhouse, which should tell the reader how satisfied our family group of 6 adults is about staying here. We rate all aspects of being hosted here as’Excellent’ including the delightful outside activities of wine tasting at numerous nearby wineries and sightseeing local historic sites and towns from 49er goldmines days. Besides its charm, cleanliness, and comfort, the Farmhouse has a great location.

This historic home is wonderful. We had a great time with our family. Thanks for sharing your home. Would stay again if we come to the area.

Really cute house. Wish the weather had been better so we could have enjoyed the lovely outdoor deck.

We recently stayed here for a wedding at a local winery. Check in was easy peasy, communication with host very easy and the place is SO charming. Just like the description...Farmhouse. The home was VERY well equipped. Each room has its own AC and bathrooms making it perfect for 3 couples! Awesome wrap around deck with great views and a cool breeze was what we had. In the middle of Amador wine country as we were surrounded by at least 9 wineries. Place has tons of parking and the area is very quiet. Highly recommend for those looking for a quaint quiet place to stay while visiting Amador wine country.
