First, we loved Lucca, our favorite place on a five-city trip of Italy. A place to see and do things and a place to relax and enjoy Italian life. The Piazza San Francesco neighborhood is close to everything in Lucca, but also has things right out the door. We were in Lucca for five days and went to restaurants and caffes in the direct neighborhood several times.
Our room is perfect, spacious, comfortable bed and clean bathroom in a nice safe building. We had neighbors, but barely saw or noticed them.
It is a minor detail, but the Piazza outside our window has restaurants that are open and lively in the evening. But it is the normal, quiet hum of Italians and tourists eating and drinking. Not a loud party atmosphere. And that proved to be no issue as far as dropping off to sleep.

L'appartement est propre, confort correct , le frigo fonctionne pas très bien , le plus le cafe et le petit biscuit ainsi que la1/2 btte d'eau. le parking sécurisé à proximité.

A beautiful authentic Lucca apartment with lots of Italian features, a cool patterned marble floor and stunning woodwork. Maria the host was very kind and has a brilliant energy - I felt safe having her number on WhatsApp and she explained everything I needed to know as well as pointing out some nearby sights and the public water fountain that you can fill your bottles up from!

It was noisy late in the evening as the windows are not double glazed.
