Super helpful staff; Maria, who checked us in was first rate.
Nothing to dislike.

The location is great. A few minutes walk from the Poole Harbour.
Loads of Character and tastefully appointed

The room was beautiful, spacious, well designed and very clean. The mattress was exquisitely comfortable with quality bedding and towels. A most refined experience.
The bar and restaurant were very atmospheric. The one meal we had was served beautifully and the food was very good quality. Staff were very polite and helpful.
The only issue was that a wedding party was booked on the Saturday. As a pre-booked guest, I was not informed about this. Not only were the corridors and gardens noisy with overactive children but the whole bar and restaurant area were unavailable to other guests for the day and evening. I really would have liked to have been informed about this at the time of my booking. For that day and evening, the experience of the hotel space was very different. If that had been my only night there, it would have been very disappointing.
