Chalong Chalet Resort

My husband and I came here for our honeymoon, and this was genuinely the best resort I have ever stayed in. We were greeted with such wonderful hospitality from the moment we arrived. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and actually remember who you are. There was a lovely gentleman at the front desk who greeted us warmly every morning on our way to breakfast and always offered to drive us back to our room in a buggy whenever we returned to the resort. The facilities are also insane! We lost count of how many pools there are, and every single one was spotlessly clean. My husband particularly loved the gym. Every morning, he was joined by a sweet little black cat whom he named Honey. There was another friendly feline on the grounds who kept me entertained whenever I was missing our cats back home. If you're considering paying extra for the breakfast, just do it, it's honestly so worth the money. Having it right there makes mornings super convenient, and the food is genuinely delicious. When you sit down, the lovely staff offer to cook you fresh eggs, and then you can help yourself to the rest of the buffet to your heart's content. We found this especially helpful since we had a lot of early morning tours booked and didn't have time to stop elsewhere for food. Honestly, it’s going to be impossible to justify staying anywhere else if we return to Phuket!

The only minor thing we disliked (emphasis on minor) was how early certain facilities closed. It stays warm all night in Phuket, so it was a little disappointing that the pools and spas closed so early. However, we assume this may have been due to the lower guest count during our stay. We visited in October during the wet season, so we were two of only about a dozen guests on-site, and they likely couldn't justify the extra staffing. Regardless, it was just a tiny detail in an otherwise perfect stay.

night was horror

Clean quiet lovely staff

No hot water and the bed was like a rock couldn’t walk anywhere as you entered straight onto the main road with no footpath for at least 500m

Good rooms and great great value. But its just a place to sleep and perhaps enjoy pool. Its not a fully run hotel or resort.
