The hotel location is great. Within 5 minutes of working distance to XiMenDing night market and subway entry. With access to the subway, one can easily reach other attractions of the city. This is a big plus. The stuffs are very friendly and help.
The hotel design is very dated and room furniture show sign of use (light stain on seat cushion and peel offs on wood bathroom door). The pillows were hard (had some large hard pieces inside). The biggest disappointment was the bathroom. My room has a bathtub, but there is NO shower curtain or door to prevent shower water splitting to the floor. I like keeping things neat. Seeing water everywhere near the bathtub after each shower was not a pleasant experience. I visited during the Taiwanese national day. Otherwise, I would had asked for a room change. Other rooms with walk-in shower has doors.
