The spa was amazing, with so many different thermal baths and sauna options. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The amenity kit included a relaxing face mask.
The spa area had too many people. Many people were talking very loud (including one person making a call inside a relax room), people were smoking outside next to the thermal baths). Some of the baths were visibly dirty, with some hair/plastic/algae floating. The place has a lot of potential and the price is too high for the capacity it allows or the cleaning standards.
The restaurant has a sign on the door saying lunch from 12-15. We went for lunch at 14:30 and were informed that lunch is only available until 14:00 (while we, surprised, pointed at the signed in the door). The staff allowed us to take some food from the buffet but we ended up rushing and paying 60 EUR for an uncomfortable lunch of a mini plate of cheese and prosciutto as the staff clearly needed us to leave.

It is the best value for money if you want to go to Terme Bagni Vecchi. I did the math so others don't have to. It is amazing because you are on top of the bagni, so you can do it in the morning, after, the afternoon before, and this is good value for money. The finest thing is that there is no tourist or very low tourist, and they're all Italians at least. So that's the good side of the thing. It is very quiet.
To be honest, the food is really disappointing, especially for international guests. It is not about it being Italian food, the quality is simply bad. Breakfast is basically only sweet and cold, which is not okay for an international audience. The Terme is super disappointing: there is no service, barely some herbal tea and water, and you have 20 minutes to get any sort of food. This is ridiculous for anyone with Terme experience elsewhere in the world. The hotel is good but very basic, really three stars, and the Terme next to it is three stars too. A few small fixes would make it great, because the location, the history and everything else are just amazing.
