A friend and I stayed here for our first-ever visit to Istanbul. We were a little nervous on how to get around and also get to/from the airport, but fortunately the hotel staff, especially Sami, helped us with all of it! They helped us book ubers, tours, and gave recommendations for things to do and a restaurant our first night when we landed two hours later than expected. The room was great for our stay. There was variety in breakfast and every time we sat in the lobby we were offered tea and coffee. We were walking distance from all the major sites and the tours we booked through the hotel picked us up and dropped off at the hotel.
The room walls are a little thin. To us this was not a major deal, but you can hear your neighbors and the outside to a degree.

An unforgettable stay! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality at Acra Hotel was unmatched. A special and heartfelt thank you goes to Emre and Sami, as well as the entire staff, who were incredibly helpful, kind, and genuinely eager to assist with anything we needed at any given moment. They truly made us feel at home.
The location is absolutely perfect—nestled in the historic Sultanahmet district, it is just a short, pleasant walk away from the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and the Topkapi Palace. Despite being so close to major attractions, the hotel itself is a peaceful oasis.
Our room was spotlessly clean, modern, and incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities we could possibly need.

The location as it’s very central and close to touristic spots and restaurants. Very helpful and friendly staff.
The internet connection was very poor and unreliable. The food was disappointing and could definitely be improved in terms of quality and taste. The rooms and bathrooms feel quite dated and would benefit from renovation. Soundproofing is also practically nonexistent — we could clearly hear guests in the neighboring rooms and even people outside our door, which made it difficult to fully relax.

Great location, very comfortable beds, housekeeping was amazing and very clean. Sami by the reception desk exceptional!!
Breakfast was very poor in choices and in quality, they never refilled the hot choices…after 9 there was literally nothing, coffee very bad quality and taste, plus every day the same. disappointing for the price and the 4 stars. they literally served sausages mixed with ketchup …No hot water the 2nd day and night and no water at all the morning after…once we complained to the receptionist he said that everyone arrived in the same time, had shower and i need to wait for the hot water to come back…not to mention i have payed for a superior room and got something less…once i requested they said that was the superior but the pictures and sizes were not matching the booking ones.
