Great, convenient location that was close to the highway and a wonderful location for travel between France and Portugal. Lovely hotel with a good restaurant and beautiful grounds. Staff was lovely.
My only complaint is that I asked for a quieter location as my dog is noise sensitive, and they noted when I checked in that I was “upgraded” (I had booked a basic room) and placed me in a room right beside the elevator and next door to another couple that had two dogs. They left the dogs in the room in the morning so they could go for breakfast, and the dogs barked non stop for over 15 minutes (it started before 8am) when I finally called the front desk to complain…
