The location is spectacular. The hotel is directly on Lake Brienz. There is direct access to the lake for swimming, and I took advantage of this wonderful, exhilarating experience. Iseltwalt is a lovely little place, unspoilt and charming. The lake paddlesteamer docks regularly next to the hotel, so one has access by this means to all the villages around Lake Brienz without needing to use the car.

Location. Breakfast excellent. Nice room.
Shower was not cleaned and blocked and flooded the room. Staff more grumpy than apologetic.
