Por razones de mantención el Jaz Crown no zarpó y nos hicieron un upgrade al crucero Steigenberger Minerva, por lo que mi comentario se refiere a éste último crucero. Todo realmente muy bueno y de buen nivel: el personal y las instalaciones. Nuestro vuelo salía tarde en la noche(11 PM) y a pesar de hacer el check-out temprano (8 AM) pudimos quedarnos en el crucero usando las instalaciones hasta la partida al aeropuerto, lo que se agradece mucho. Fue una muy grata experiencia.
No indicaron el lugar de embarque y horario para el check-in. El teléfono de la compañía en Booking no respondía y hubo que contactarlos con ayuda del personal del hotel para encontrar una respuesta. Se sugiere que la información sobre el paquete turístico que organiza el barco a los sitios arqueológicos sea mejorada respecto de horarios y los servicios incluye.

It was clean and attractive given its age. The upper deck was acceptable, and the food was truly excellent.
Let’s begin with the swimming pool. It is quite misleading: the images suggest a reasonable size, yet most of it is very shallow (10 cm), with only a small area offering sufficient depth. The actual sailing lasted just one day. The cruise remained in Aswan for a day and sailed to Luxor, where we stayed a full day. While in Luxor, the boat was moored between two others, so apart from blocking the entire balcony view, we dealt with fuel smoke and noise throughout.

El servicio muy bueno. desde el Front Ofice Manager que nos ayudó a nuestra llegada con un problema con la agencia de los tours hasta Mohamed, el camarero del bar de la piscina cuyo trato y profesionalidad fueron impecables.
El crucero trabaja con una agencia de tours para ofrecer a sus clientes las visitas en los diferentes destinos donde va parando. Dicha agencia solo permite coger todas las actividades en paquete, incluyendo actividades de muy poco interés (visita al "jardin botanico" de Aswan). Los guías que tienen son bastante malos en general, sobretodo teniendo en cuenta el precio del paquete que costó casi lo mismo que el crucero de 4 noches.
