Motel Villaggio

I stayed in a single room which was large like a double just with a king single bed. The room, and all of the hotel and restaurant is so clean. Like it was built yesterday. The decor itself is of a bygone era, but it is so clean and well- maintained. It really feels new. The room had everything you need and more: Sky TV, ample space to open luggage, writing desk for working, hooks to hang jackets, automatic blinds on the windows to completely block out light, self controlled air conditioning and the number one best thing that many hotels of higher categories don't even have - a general switch above the bed so you don't have to get out of bed to turn a light off. The bathroom is spotless, plenty of places to hang towels, a standard Italian shower (1m x1m) with very good water pressure. I couldn't even spot calcium build up anywhere. But without a doubt the best thing about the hotel is the staff /owners.  I believe the older gentleman who served me in the restaurant, singing softly as he worked, was the owner. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced (I spent had a meat main dish, grilled vegetables, large water, 1/4 house wine and spent only 18 euro). They also have a pizzeria. The younger man who did my check in was kind and quick and the lovely lady who served coffees at breakfast had the most beautiful smile - what a way to start the day. Thank you to you all - my stay was short but it will absolutely remain in my memory. It is a 10 min walk from Imola train station just make sure you exit the station using the underpass in direction of Via Serraglio and not direction Piazzale Marabini.

The hosts are great, I received help and flexibility with the check in as I had a delayed flight. The location is great, near the train station, the neighbourhood is quiet, pizza was amazing (they also have a restaurant within the location). Highly recommend!

Very nice architectural style. The location in a quiet , friendly neighbourhood . The presence of a very good restaurant as part of the Motel . The comfortable aesthetically pleasing room and its particularly stylish bathroom with a perfect shower ! To recommend ! A special mention to the owners for their taste .
