A great nights stay with friendly staff! A warm welcome awaits you
7 / 10Good·Oct 2026
Convenient location, facilities suited a brief stay to visit family
Prompt response from the manager when problems were identified
Accountability and offer of free drink because of the problems.
3rd bed for my son was not set up on arrival ( around 9pm)
No towels for 3rd person
No bath mat
No coffee
No milk
Questions from bar staff that I explain the problems for why our group of 3 had been offered a free drink, and no further apology or accountability shown on hearing the information ( and seemingly implying that I was chancing it to get a free drink - this felt rude. ) Embarrassing to have to repeat the problems to prove something too.

Fabulous building, lovely room and appreciated the complimentary breakfast items.
Bed was very creaky and lumpy

Really friendly staff, good bar.
Kitchen was closed (but I think I was aware of that when booking) so we were able to get a take-out delivered.
The windows in our room were old & needed a little TLC - we have to wedge a bin under one of them to hold it open through the hot night
