Luckily, when we contacted the management via WhatsApp to repair the broken items, they did send a repairman to fix them. However, bear in mind that the repairs may be carried out while you're away, leaving you with no choice but to allow them to enter the property without your supervision.
Very disappointing stay. The property was poorly maintained, and many facilities were broken or not functioning properly. The room door was faulty, the water heater did not work, the pillows had a strong unpleasant smell, and the toilet emitted a persistent sewage odour throughout our stay. The water pressure on the second floor was also extremely weak.
Another major inconvenience was the electricity system. The room uses a key card to power the electricity, so if you leave the room to use the shared bathroom without bringing the card, you can easily end up locked out.
The homestay also requires a security deposit, but they never clearly informed us how many towels, cups, or other items were supposed to be provided in the room. The checkout process was entirely self-service, and no staff inspected the room with us before we left. Four hours after we had checked out, they contacted us claiming that one towel was missing.
We thoroughly checked all of our luggage and did not take any towel. Since no inventory was verified during either check-in or checkout, there is no way to determine whether the towel was misplaced by housekeeping, used by maintenance staff, or was never in the room to begin with. Unfortunately, in this situation, guests are simply expected to accept the management's claim hours after they have already left, with no way to verify it.
Overall, this was a very frustrating experience due to the poor maintenance, lack of cleanliness, inconvenient facilities, and unclear deposit procedures. I would not recommend staying here.
