Very big property by the water, gated and with a couple of Kudus. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff is incredibly friendly.
There’s a lot of bugs (not the accommodations fault - it’s nature) and I was hoping for a more social vibe as a solo traveler.

Lovely lodge next to the river. Family rooms and chalets are very nice furnished and decorated but need a bit of maintenance. The staff is amazing, very professional and kind. They will do everything to make your stay enjoyable. I had an issue with the one of the rooms but Kemo (manager) made it right straight away changing my room.
Amazing customer service. Kemo helped me to organize the activities ( mokoro trip and Chief’s island boat your, I highly recommend it!!!!! ). Excellent communication via email. Kemo always answered back to my emails and keep me informed. Thank you very much for our lovely stay at the Island Safari Lodge
