Posada El Tesin needed to repair a room, so they asked if we would accept an available room with a shared bathroom in another Albergue. We were fine with that. They gave us a good complementary breakfast to make up for the change. We were well looked after.

Great staff, great food, comfy but rustic rooms and bath. Just an overall sweet place with food and accommodations. Gregorian chants happen up the path in the church every evening. Right on El Camino.
Slightly rustic and older, but an authentic Spain experience in a small village.

El Tesin was a great stop on the Camino. We had a nice Pilgrim's Menu (3-course) meal there and met other pilgrims who were walking the Camino.
