The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Hamra Beach

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at The Ritz-Carlton Al Hamra Beach! The villa was beautiful, the pool was a great size, and the food was delicious with generous portions. The price was reasonable, and the service was excellent. The staff were professional and friendly. Special thanks to Sufian and Ayo for being absolutely amazing! We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back! ❤️

The buggy staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming, and the villas themselves were very nice. We particularly enjoyed the privacy of our villa and private pool, as well as the peaceful and tranquil surroundings.

The service from some of the staff was disappointing and not what I would expect from a luxury hotel. The dinner service was disorganised and lacked professionalism. Staff frequently forgot basic things like cutlery and napkins, and on one occasion brought out our desserts while we were still eating our mains. The restaurant toilets were dirty, and food spilled on the floor was left unattended for a long time. Overall, the restaurant lacked proper management, staff training and service standards. Customer service was also inconsistent. I accidentally left my bag containing my bank cards and ID in the gym. After calling reception, I waited 40 minutes without an update. The receptionist was dismissive, unhelpful and lacked urgency in resolving the issue. However, when I contacted guest relations, the lady resolved the issue within five minutes, so it depends on who you speak to. Some of the staff are professional and deliver high quality service whereas others don't. On another occasion, we requested fresh pool and bath towels. Despite calling reception three times and waiting over 40 minutes, they never arrived, so we had to reuse our old towels. We also experienced noisy neighbours playing loud music. It took an hour for the issue to be resolved, although the security guard was very helpful. I would recommend requesting a quiet, secluded villa, as noise travels between villas. Overall, the staff were very hit-and-miss, and the service lacked consistency, efficiency and attention to detail. For a hotel at this price point, I expected much higher standards and a more seamless luxury experience.
