We stayed at Hotel Da Bruno in Venice, and I honestly have nothing negative to say about this hotel! From check-in to check-out, everything was perfect.
Upon arrival, the reception staff were super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. We were even offered orange juice, which was such a lovely touch!
The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Venice. As soon as you step outside, you’ll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and famous gelato spots. It’s also within easy reach of the main attractions, the pier, pubs, and many other places worth visiting.
The room we booked was massive, perfect for the four of us! It was clean, comfortable, and well equipped with towels and toiletries. The kitchen had all the essentials, and tea and coffee were provided too. You can even cook your own meals if you prefer. There’s a Coop supermarket just a few steps away, which is especially convenient if you’re travelling on a budget and want to buy groceries.
Everything was so easy and convenient, from finding the hotel to exploring Venice. We truly enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have asked for more.
If we ever return to Venice, we will definitely stay at Hotel Da Bruno again!
Many thanks to everyone at Hotel Da Bruno for making our stay so wonderful and memorable. You made our Venice trip perfect! Highly recommended! ❤️

We liked the layout of the apartment and space of the rooms; well equipped kitchen; small supermarket 20 meters away; friendly staff; apartment was clean and had everything we needed.
Although we stayed on the second floor it was quite noisy at night; the windows are actually good but you can here the people outside very well just like they were in front of an open window; I had to sleep with ear plugs; the Salizzada San Lio alley is very narrow in front the apartment so the sound cannot go anywhere; unfortunately the same in the living room facing the backyard but there the noise and seafood smell comes from the kitchen of the restaurant until 11 pm.

We checked in at reception in the Hotel Da Bruno and one of the staff walked us to the apartment and helped with our bags. The apartment is well laid out for two couples, very clean, and very well equipped with comfortable furniture for 4+ people, kitchen supplies (including a nespresso plus a regular drip coffee pot), a safe, a dishwasher, a washer, and outlets by the beds and in the living areas - and everything worked! It is very well located a short walk to restaurants, a grocery, and San Marco square. The hotel staff were also very friendly and very helpful before and during our stay with general information, recommending restaurants, arranging departure train and airport transfers and making sure we knew where to go for pick-up.
There was nothing we didn't like.
