Re-opened in November 2018, The Pink Hotel Coolangatta is a refurbished 1950's boutique hotel, located opposite the beach. The hotel has been designed with Scandinavian and mid-century themes and features wall art throughout.

It was so unique, different, colourful and a nice change from standard cookie-cutter hotels. They have put a lot of thought and effort into making it stand out and feel like an “experience” rather than just a place to sleep. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, it was so convenient to the beach, shops, cafes, restaurants and within walking distance to NSW!! We loved the rooftop patio! The beds were amazingly comfortable.
Finding parking on the street was a little difficult in the afternoon when we arrived, but we managed and moved the car late in the evening to the street beside the hotel and that is where it stayed. So, really it was only a minor issue. The rooftop patio could use some shaded areas. Our group wanted to sit there with an afternoon drink and play cards, but it was hot and there was no shade.
