I wasn’t expecting 5 star hotel. I think the place is transparent in their offering. The staff were helpful and friendly. Huge thanks Mira
I will say the location around the place comes across very dodgy, I would recommend you be in your place at 10:30. Do not take late night metro rather take a freenow/uber to the front door after that time. However totally fine during the day. It is also nice and close to the historical section. If you looking for functional spot to put down your head but maximise on attractions this is not bad at all. I wish the toilet was in the room but the private shower was clean.

The location is in the city center of Barcelona. I did not have to share a bedroom.
When they cleaned my room, there was a strong odor of bleach afterwards. I had to leave my room for hours then open my door and window when I came back since the odor was not gone.
I had to turn in my key every time I left the building. This was the first and only time I have had to do this. I did not like it but I didn’t notice anything missing from my belongings.
Lastly, there was no common area to meet other’s traveling.

The hotel is in a great location, close to the city centre, with plenty of breakfast spots and cafés nearby. The beach is also within easy reach, which was a big plus.
The walls are very thin, so you can easily hear conversations from neighbouring rooms. There was also quite a lot of noise, which made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay.
