This is our fourth visit to Apartamentos Marsol and it never disappoints. The Host Ana is always very welcoming and obliging. The pool is clean and well looked-after. The apartment is cleaned daily. The surrounding grounds are well-maintained. It is a 5-10 minute walk to a large supermarket where one can find everything needed for a self-catering holiday. The walk into town is about 10 minutes even for a couple of mid-seventy year olds like us! The town of Lagos is busy and there is plenty to see and lots of good-quality restaurants to suit every taste. The fish market is a place not to be missed with a restaurant upstairs with an open terrace which looks out over the river, perfect for a birds-eye view of the area. We flew into Faro Airport, and made our way to Faro train station and caught the train to Lagos which takes about an hour and a half then a short taxi ride to the accommodation. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Friendly and helpful staff, 24/7 reception, quick check-in and check-out, parking available right next to the cottage, well-equipped accommodation, good Wi-Fi, and a comfortable bed.
No air conditioning, a peculiar smell from the old furniture, and ants everywhere.

The pool was nice right out the front door of the apartment, easy parking. Nice bedside tables and wall lights. Ok location at the top of the hill about 10mins into the Centro. Host was very lovely giving us lots of recommendations.
The apartment is very basic, minimal furnishings, no iron or washing machine ect. Unpractical lounge room and kitchen. No coffee or tea provided. It’s situated at the top of the hill approximately 10mins from centre of town.
