The location is superb and the view from the porch is wonderful. We loved the outdoor space/views and our kids enjoyed the pool table. The apartment is located in the basement of a large home, just so you are aware of where you’ll be staying. Neither bedroom has a window, which made my wife a little uncomfortable since there was no secondary way out in the event of an emergency. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. Our biggest issue was with the weird electric wiring in the kitchen that resulted in the breaker tripping when we used the microwave. There are signs saying not to use a specific outlet when using the microwave, and we never did, but when the breaker still tripped we couldn’t use the microwave or stove to cook dinner until someone came and reset the breaker in the main house, resulting in us having to cook using a plug-in griddle. Cathy was quick to respond to messages and try to correct the situation, it was just an inconvenience. The home is in a lovely neighborhood and we enjoyed watching the sunset each evening and taking leisurely walks down the street, as well as the quick drive to all the sites of downtown Seattle. Easy parking on the street with plenty of space to park. Very clean and nice to have laundry facilities as well!

We had the most wonderful time staying at this beautiful apartment! It is perfectly nestled in the quiet hillside in Queen Anne with so much well within walking distance! The view off the porch is incredible and the indoor space is so homey! We watched cruise ships and sailboats come in and out of the marina each day. Everything was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. We had a seamless check in and check out. Cathy and Eric were warm and welcoming and very responsive!

Beautiful apartment with a spectacular view. Parking was easy on the street right outside the apartment. We were pleased that the place was very clean and the washer and dryer worked well. The area is very hilly, but that was expected. We hope to come back again. Thank you, Cathy, for hosting us!
