Very pleasant receptionist who helped to ensure newspapers were delivered the following day and the breakfast was excellent.
Room number 128 is small and area for the bed is divorced from any bedside table or chair so you have to sit on a low bed to watch the television!

A very relaxing atmosphere.
The signature suite could do with some updating - could be amazing but bed mattress and dated/chipped furnishings let it down.
Sunday lunch was luke warm and vegetables over-sweetened.

We got a very late booking for a very good rate. Location is very good. Room was a little tight but we knew that on booking

the bed was comfy
breakfast although presented well was cold, all the seats were very low through the hotel (style over practicality)
a lot of dogs present with no warning or guarantee that room hadn't had dog in it previously. reception staff were slow and didn't even acknowledge or apologise for wait. nobody there on checkout but fortunately the senior lady on service in the restaurant on the Sunday morning helped
