secluded from the chaotic downtown area
Initially trying to book a Grab to town. Conceierge referred me to use his taxi driver friend “Warren”, when I should’ve listened to my gut to book a Grab. Taxi driver said he worked for the hotel, which was not accurate. Warren was Very aggressive took me to dark areas on the way that he recommended over my requested destination. I insisted on my original destination and after some additional price negotiation, the original fair was doubled. Preservation of safety over a few dollars prevailed. Always taking Grab from here on out. Lesson learned.
