Room OK: quite, clean, functional: very good shower system. Breakfast OK (we took continental one) Good bread, birchermüesli and fruits. The whole property was very clean. All staff were nice and helpful. A temporary problem was the closing of the motorway exit Pforzheim Est, as our Satellite Navigation did not know it. We solve the problem by setting "no motorway" after exiting the motorway by the next possible exit.
Adjusting the room temperature was not possible: no display with actual temp and no info about goal temp. It was a tentative setting and unsuccessful ... Just a knob to turn with no numbers showing what would happen.
We would have appreciate a toaster at breakfast, and the 15cmx15cm napkins were ridiculous.

We use this as a 1 night stop on the way to and return from the Dolomites. We arrive feeling tired, hungry and thirsty. Check in is quick. the shower is superb. the bed is comfortable and the evening meal we had on this leg of the journey was one of the best we had on the holiday. Needless to say that the beer was refreshing. Breakfast is very good and starts early.
Heated/lit shaving mirror wasn't working but coped with the main mirror. We stopped staying here for a couple of years due to problems of access caused by roadworks. These are not complete but largely solved.

Good overnight stopover. Pleasant and helpful staff. Nice meal in the restaurant.
Charged €18 pp for a buffet breakfast which should be included in the initial room charge. The pillows are too soft and flat! The staff did get us some other pillows but they were rock hard foam!

Nice rooms, restaurant and staff
Location was hindered by a lot of roadworks that cannot be avoided!
