The Hotel is in a beautiful setting and adjacent to the River with only a short walk into town for restaurants (which we needed as no restaurant on site when we arived).
Room was very nice abd bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was good but very basic in terms of choices.
Having to wait to park due to a wedding blocking the route to the parking area. Was a minor issue, but after riding a motorcycle all day we were hoping to simply arrive and unpack.

Amazing building. We had noisy people in the next room and staff were excellent in giving us a room in a quieter part of the hotel.
There was a large wedding that made things a bit noisy and meant parking a little way from hotel but only a few minutes. Staff did best to minimise disruption.

Nice abbey-complex, room in the older building would probably have been nicer (and cooler).
Expected air-conditioning but only had ventilator in the room.
