The location in Silom was perfect. Within the property the pool is beautifully set up within the courtyard, there is plenty of room within the lobby and the room I had contained a kitchenette. The staff were super friendly….
The airconditioning was only available in the lobby and rooms, not the hallways on the room hallways. It’s acceptable though. The real issue I had was with the WiFi. The rooms and lobby had different WiFi networks which weren’t available in the hallways. The speed fluctuated immensely. For websites it’s fine, but for streaming or uploading my photos and videos of the day into the cloud, it was too poor. Streaming from the hotel tv froze here and there.

Really good location, great spot near local markets, shopping malls, sky train and subway
A bit run down, loud air-con

In a few words: great location, clean and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff. Silom Serene has become my home away from home when I am in Bangkok.
Nothing negative to report
