Great views across the rolling hills and towards patches of natural bushland. Plenty of space inside to sit and eat, with lots of comfy places to do the same on the outside verandah. Stars were amazing to look at. Two bathrooms, one with spa not that I go to use it as was in ensuite of the couple I was travelling with. Lots of kangaroos, wallabies and a wallaroo to watch at dusk and dawn.
As this trip was mostly about going bird watching, the Moonlight Ridge cabin we got was not located in the bush but in open grazed paddock with little habitat for birds. As an ecologist, I could also recognise all the weeds. It was disappointing how few birds we got to see around the cabin, only 10 or so species. The gravel road through the property was a little rough, with lots of corrugations, potholes and washouts in the very steep sections - a little scary to travel on.

We stayed at the "Wildflower" glamping tent and we liked about the property is how clean it is and how accommodating despite of being small but the ammenities are there like Fridge and stove and all the cook wears. We love how we were able to gather our fire woods for the outside fire pit, like they don't pushed their guests to buy the fire woods in the manager's office, like we could but we chose not too, just to fully experienced the glamping and have a quality time with my husband by gathering some woods.
Didn't really like how we didnt get told that we were not able to do some fishing in the river during our stay, we found out about it on the day where they have notes in the table. But its okay.

The property is in a beautiful, isolated area. Fresh air, clean water and clear sounds of nature are an incredible experience to just close your eyes and become a part of
Some facilities weren’t maintained, such as some provided fold out chairs being broken, the main heater in the gas stove not operating properly, and the hammock poles breaking on us during use. However we were compensated for these with complementary wine upon reporting

Like how peaceful it was and would recommend to anyone wanting some peace and quiet
There was a branch that was rubbing on the roof with the wind is the only thing. Everything else was perfect
