Views were exceptional, cottages quaint, clean and comfortable
The smell from the fire place was nauseating and for this reason I would never stay there again, which is disappointing as everything else about the
property was ideal.

We had a lovely stay at Grampians Pioneer Cottages, but what really made this place special was the kindness of the owner.
After we checked out, my husband realised he’d accidentally left behind his shampoo. It was a special one that wasn’t easy to replace, so he called the owner to ask about it. The owner was incredibly understanding, took the time to listen and help, and even went to the trouble of posting it back to us without charging anything extra.
It might seem like a small thing, but to us, it meant a lot. It’s not often you come across someone who genuinely cares enough to go out of their way for guests, especially after they’ve already left.
We really appreciated this thoughtful gesture. It’s these little acts of kindness that make a stay truly memorable. Thank you so much for looking after us!

The location was stunning, loved the vibe of the house - interior and exterior were so lovely, comfortable beds, the dining table was great, comfy couch. We loved every second of our stay, the wildlife is everywhere, took a minute to work out what some of the animal sounds were - but after reading the guest book we discovered the zoo backs onto the property and walked over to find Bison next door! Really appreciated the wood for the fire.
