Excellent hotel as part of the larger scallywags resort that can also be found on the beach, we stayed at the mango resort which is a little satellite area 8 mins from the beach club. It has its own pool and reception area and feels very special and tucked away as an oasis. The room is completely private and has its own front garden porch area and seating outside. The room is light and spacious with a huge comfortable bed, tv, strong WiFi, storage areas and safe, plus drinking water, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a garden bathroom very private and nice shower. The room was cleaned regularly and the staff were lovely. As breakfast was included we went to the beach club area every morning which was a lovely walk saying hello to the locals. Breakfast was also great with lots of variety and friendly staff, especially Amino and Ingo. We used the sun lounger area every day and saw turtles swimming just off the beach. The reception staff especially Tegah and Alin were so helpful and friendly and we liked it so much we are staying a month!

Everything is outdated, the pool is dirty and extremely cold, and the accommodation itself was full of mold and humidity. We could barely breathe in the room.
We asked for a full refund so we could move to another accommodation, but instead, they offered us another room. Unfortunately, even that room had a strong mold smell as soon as we turned on the air conditioning. It was a nightmare.
Perhaps this was once a good hotel, but it seems that very little has been done to renovate or maintain it over the years. The property is in desperate need of investment and proper maintenance.
On top of everything, we were given only one beach towel for two people, with the explanation that the others were in the laundry.
I am extremely disappointed. The only reason I am giving this accommodation a score of 6 is that they offered us an alternative room after we raised our concerns. Otherwise, based on the condition of the property and our overall experience, I would have rated it a 1 or 2 at most.
