The landlady, Valentina, met us at the property (we had informed her what time we were due to arrive). She was very friendly and welcoming. She spoke no English, and we spoke no Spanish/Catalan, but Google audio translate enabled her to tell us about the apartment, and to give us tips for our visit to the city centre. The apartment is very comfortable - a bedroom with double bed and single bed, a bathroom with shower cubicle, and a living area with large sofa, small dining table with chairs, and a kitchen area with 2 ring hob, microwave, fridge, sink, and crocker/cutlery/cooking utensils. There was even a shady terrace. The apartment was cooler than expected in the evening, so we were glad of the heater/air conditioner unit, and radiators. It was nice and quiet at night, so we slept well.
Travelling to the city centre was very easy - there is a 10 minute walk to two Metro stations (but yes, 5 minutes of the walk is up a fairly steep road), with trains running every 5 minutes. There is a Lidl supermarket right by Vall d'Hebron Metro station, which was very useful.

Fantastic stay. We loved the garden. The host is very kind and helpful, we especially appreciated the tips on how to reach the house without having to climb the hill.
The layout of the apartment is tricky, you need to get used to sharing the bathroom between the two bedrooms. The only actual problem is that there's no shop nearby, you need to walk for about 25 minutes, but that's just something you need to take into account.

Wonderful balcony. We spent most of our time there. Two rooms with two bathrooms. Not a far walk from the subway. It was nice to have a nice outdoor space with balcony while visiting Barcelona. They had off-street parking which was wonderful.
Kitchen is a bit small. No table for eating on deck.

It has a beautiful garden.
There are kitchen stuff and washing machine with a dryer
-House owner was so late even she said 20 min later she said 30 min after that she said 5 min when we call.
-the flat has strange plan. There is 2 bedroom but it goes to same bathroom from different doors and while you are in shower anotger person has access from another bedroom and the doors even doesnt close well.
-it has otopark but it is so small and you need to act according to other cars also.
